Earlier in September, we were blessed to welcome Fr. Justin from the Missionaries of God’s Love (MGLs), who delivered one of the most powerful and challenging talks we’ve had this year — “Who Is Man? A Biblical Lesson on the Masculine Soul.”
Fr. Justin spoke about what it means to be created as men in the image of God — strong, tender, sacrificial, and deeply relational.
He reminded us that authentic masculinity is not about control or dominance, but about service, self-mastery, and love.
Many men were deeply moved by his message, taking time afterward to reflect, share, and pray together as brothers.

🧭 YMG NORTH — The Brotherhood Expands
The spark has spread north.
September marked the official launch of YMG North, expanding our mission to reach young men across Adelaide’s northern suburbs.Led by a passionate local team, YMG North will host monthly sessions, 3rd Friday of the Month— prayer, formation, and fraternity — helping more men encounter Christ in a powerful, personal way.
The movement is growing, and we’re ready to see what God will do next.
⚓ The Anchored Program — Building Men of Prayer, Discipline & Mission
One of the most powerful things happening right now within YMG is the Anchored Program — a 90-day journey of faith, discipline, and fraternity designed to strengthen the foundations of Catholic manhood.
Each man commits to a daily rhythm of:
📖 Prayer – Morning, Night, and Scripture or Rosary
💪 Discipline – Sacrifices, fasting, and physical self-control
🤝 Fraternity – Fortnightly brother check-ins and accountability
This term, we have 18 men participating across four groups — two in the South and two newly launched in the North.
Each group meets Fortnightly to pray, share, and grow together, forming bonds of real brotherhood that go beyond surface-level faith.
The Anchored Program is helping men develop consistency, integrity, and leadership — forming future fathers, husbands, and saints.

🧳 YMG MEN HEADING TO SUMMER SCHOOL — Help Us Get There
Several YMG brothers are preparing to attend the Summerschool of Evangelisation in Melbourne this January — a week of worship, community, and deep formation.
Some men need financial support to make this happen.
We’ll be holding a series of fundraising events in the coming weeks to help cover their travel and registration.
